Apex Women Bring It Home!
A perfect end to a perfect season!
The rain, predicted for Saturday's NCHSAA Women's Lacrosse Finals at Wake Med Soccer Park, held off to see the Lady Cougars defeat Charlotte's Meyers Park by an astounding 24 - 3. All players were on their games - a result of their season long work and committment to bring the trophy home! Congrats to Cawley Bromley - MVP!

Apex to play for lacrosse title again!

Lacrosse Honors: Apex's Katie McLaughlin and Katie Burnet are on the first-team North Carolina Chapter Lacrosse All-American team, which is a state award and not an All-America honor. Selection for the state team makes players eligible for the national All-American club.
North Carolina Chapter All-American honorable-mention picks include Asia Moore and Cawley Bromley, both of Apex.

Katie will be playing in the US Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament, May 28 & 29 in Long Island. She is one of 20 players chosen from a field of 65 who tried out for the NC/Lower Atlantic team! Way to go, Katie!
