State Champions Two Three Years Running!
Apex Varsity Women's Lacrosse has been around six years now. First year as a club team and second year as a full conference team. In their third year they won the State Championship Title of North Carolina! They repeated that in year four, and in year five, won an unprecedented third State Championship!!!
2009 was the last season that the women played under the auspices of the NC High School Women's Lacrosse Association, which was key in promoting the sport in NC. The game has now been offically recognized by the NC High School Athletic Association, which will sponsor future championships.
