History
Apex Varsity Women's Lacrosse has been around eight years now. First year as a club team and second year as a full conference team. In their third year they won the State Championship Title of North Carolina! They repeated that in year four, and in year five, won an unprecedented third State Championship! After a break in 2010, they returned to win a 4th state championship in 2011.
The program has grown to support a JV team, which has consistently led the conference and has given experience to our strong players who go on to play at the Varsity level.
2010 was the first year of play under the NC High School Athletic Association, which resulted in a different schedule for the team.
